Relaxation in harmony with nature
We, the Dirsch family, have owned Hotel Dirsch since 1968. Our hotel is located in the Altmühl Valley Nature Park.
Through our environmentally friendly management, we aim to offer our guests relaxation in harmony with nature and to help preserve the landscape.
As a family business with a personal connection to the region, we feel a particular obligation to the next generation to use resources properly, carefully and sparingly.
Sustainability in everyday life
Our key areas
Purchasing
We act according to ecological principles – environmentally conscious, modern and sustainable. We prefer to treat our guests to fresh, regional food.
Region
Strengthening the regional economy is an important part of our business. This keeps added value and jobs in the region as far as possible.
Energy
We heat our hotel 95% with renewable wood chips from the region or from our own forest. Our solar installation supplements our energy production.
Waste
We try to avoid waste and to dispose of it properly and in an environmentally friendly way.
Think Green
We inform our guests about the environmental aspects of what we do and encourage the economical use of water, energy, resources and towels.

Hotel Dirsch is committed to the common good, local initiatives, educational projects, health, intercultural exchange and social responsibility.
Environment + Climate Pact Bavaria
Recognition & commitment
Hotel Dirsch participates in the Environment + Climate Pact Bavaria and has received a certificate for this. Participation covers a period of three years up to and including 25/09/2027.
